Dan Bishop – University at Buffalo Wrestler
I was reading my daily dose of Yahoo news articles and this one caught my eye. It was a story of a wrestler named Dan Bishop from the University at Buffalo. Apparently he was severly injured during a wrestling match and almost paralyzed. You can read the entire story and watch a video here:

The story goes on to say that in only a few months, this young wrester had fought his way to recovery so he could walk at graduation to receive his diploma. What caught my eye was a quote by Dan that said:
“Everywhere you look nowadays, you see the negative of people … and to actually see the good side of people, it’s life-changing,” Bishop said. “It’s beautiful. There’s so much good in the world today, and a lot of it doesn’t get exposed.”
After reading that quote the first thing that came to mind was: That kid must have had a great coach!
Dan is now focusing on helping to teach kids and I think with his postive can-do attitude he is off to a great start! Sports4Success.com wishes him the best of luck!
